La Gloria Cubana – Inmenos LCDH

The year 2011 kicked off with a sensation for Habanos fans: a huge cigar format of the brand La Gloria Cubana is coming to the shops. Habanos s.a. is offering the Inmensos exclusively in the La Casas del Habanos. This cigar in the format Sublimes (164 mm length, band size 54) is reinforcing the brand range. The sales remain exclusively reserved for the worldwide around 140 franchise shops of the La Casa del Habano. However, each year only 5,000 boxes with 10 cigars each are offered. These cigars are produced in the tradition-steeped Partagás factory in Havanna. La Gloria Cubana is a little known jewel among the Habanos, the history of which goes back into a time in which the striving for the national independence of Cuba was growing stronger. Founded in 1885, already its designation declares origin and concerns. For over one hundred years, it has had a small but loyal following among the most knowledgeable aficionados. The brand is characterised by its elegant presentation, especially in the range Medaille d’Or. All cigars are ‘totalmente a mano, tripa larga’ – long fillers completely manufactured by hand. The blends from tobaccos of the region Vuelta Abajo are of medium strength, and offer well-balanced nuances in taste and aroma.
