Romeo y Julieta – Romeo de Luxe EL 2013

The Romeo y Julieta Romeo de Luxe is the third and biggest format of the Edición Limitada 2013. Without exaggeration they can be named the climax of this limited edition. The Romeo de Luxe has a length of 162 mm and a contemporary band size of 52. The production name of this format is “Capuleto”. This name comes from Shakespeare’s world famous play, from Juliet’s noble family of the Capulets. The taste of the format, which is a one off in this brand, is characterised with complex aromas with medium strength. It offers full bodied cigar enjoyment for around 90 minutes. For the limited productions of the annually coming out Edición Limitada, always certain formats are chosen which are not in the standard portfolio of the brand. In addition they are marked by their naturally fermented, dark wrappers. This results from the use of tobacco leaves from the upper part of the plants. Only certain Habanos factories with especially large experience are chosen to roll these limited cigars. For the manufacture of the Ediciónes Limitadas, solely tobaccos at least maturation stored for two years are used for filler, binder and wrapper which come from the best Vegas Finas de Prima from the zone Pinar del Rio. A second, black-golden cigar band with year printed on it designates these cigars as “Edición Limitada”.
